Caller and Cuer
Marcie and I have been dancing since 1988. We both learned from diffrent callers in different clubs, and didn't meet untill the spring of '91. I went with the caller I was working with to perfect my craft to the Fiddelsteppers of Denver, and Marcie was at the door taking money. The week before Marcie and her club had come to the Orphan Squares banner chasing and promoting their following dance featuring our club caller Mr. Don Forsyth, and I noticed her that night. Well to say the least I was very pleased to see her again, and asked her if she would like to go plus dancing the next night, which she said she would love to. we had made arrangments to meet at the dance, and unfortunately I was late getting to the dance, as I am a locksmith. I had a late emergency call, and she was asking Don if she had been stood up. Don assured her I would be there and shortly there after I came flying into the parking lot.
We started dating and fell in love. We were married the following year and then moved to Kansas for a job offered to Marcie to manage the hospital lab in Caldwell, and we shortly there after moved to Wichita, and have been here ever since.
